The Susquehanna River Lodge is the first local home to be certified under the LEED homes program. LEED-certified homes complete a technically rigorous process that often includes a home energy (HERS) rating and onsite inspections to verify that the home is built to be energy and water efficient, environmentally sound, and a healthier place to live. The house design also carefully joins interior and exterior spaces to take advantage of the riverfront site. The ‘LEED Gold Mark’ is a registered trademark owned by the U.S. Green Building Council and is used by permission.
