This new home was built an a beautiful sloping properties with expansive views. Sustainability throughout the design process was of utmost importance. We took care to design for passive solar design and created a stair tower extending form the basement to make use of a natural chimney effect to exhaust hot air out the top while drawing cool air in from the basement.
